Crochet Project Class: Make a Baby Sweater
Looking for the next step in your crocheting? A great way to get started making sweaters is by learning the basics on a baby sweater. This one-piece (no sewing pieces together!), top-down, yoked baby sweater covers construction basics. With easy to read and follow instructions, this sweater can be made by new crocheters.
Participants should be advanced beginners comfortable confidently working chain and half double crochet independently.
- One skein of Juniper Moon Cumulus, Cumulus Dappled or 200 yards (or more) of other worsted-weight, machine-washable yarn.
- H hook
- 2 locking or split ring stitch markers
Class fee is $50 for two 90-minute sessions. Yarn for your project is required to be purchased at Yarnia, and students receive a 10% discount on yarn purchased for use in the class. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of each class with materials in hand.
