The stripes go round and round. No jog to be found. In knitting this torqued toque, you’ll learn the basics of helical knitting – working  stripes with multiple colors without jog or trapping colors.

Once you get the formula down…you can work this quick concept hat with any yarn in as many colors as you like. It’s flat out fun! Our hat kicks off with a temporary start so we can get right to the striped part, and ends with a folded top. It works from the inside or the right side round – your choice. Then it’s back to the start to pick up the stitches and work a crisp ribbed edging. This class is chock full with skills end to end.

This workshop is suitible for advanced beginner knitters and higher who are comfortable with the knit stitch, and have worked at least one hat in the round on circulars. Bonus skills to know–but you can learn them here–are the long-tail cast on and knitting bind-off
