There's still time to join the knit-along, but we're also getting ready to wrap up and show off our finished Out-Stranding shawls! Be sure to participate for prizes!
- Post your finished shawls and works-in-progress on Instagram with the hashtag #springshawlKAL2022 for the chance to win a prize from either KnittyNatty or Yarnia!
- Grand prizes from Yarnia and KnittyNatty will be awarded to two knitters who completed their shawl within the time of the KAL and submit a form HERE.
- On the entry form you can also sign up to show off your shawl during our live Closing Ceremony on May 26 at 6pm. Not ready to show off? We'd still love to have you participate as an audience member by watching the Closing Ceremony live on the Love in Stitches YouTube channel on Thursday, May 26 @ 6pm.
If you're visiting us for the first time, or ready to cast on another shawl, here are some kits we've put together just for the Out-Stranding shawl, by Christie Archer -- the shawl we'll all be knitting in the April-May KAL with KnittyNatty of the Love in Stitches podcast.
Out-Stranding calls for one full skein of fingering for the main color and two partial skeins for the accent colors. Choose from our Tosh Sock and Tosh Merino Light kits*. For each kit, you'll receive a full 100 gram skein of the main (lightest) color, and one 50 gram skein of each of the contrasting colors. We're winding the mini skeins just for you, so please allow a few extra days processing time.
*Yarnia + Love in Stitches, Now Neutrals and Whiskey Sour are in Tosh Sock, Isn't it Romantic, Passionate and The Blues are in Tosh Merino Light.
